Keep Thread-URLs from SMF-Forum ?

Hi,

i have done a testmigration from SMF to myBB.

The result looks good. But it looks that i have to run the old forum for one or two years more, because otherwise all the links will not longer work. 

Old Link: http://www.xxx.xx/forum/index.php?topic=18178.0
New URL: http://www.xxx.xx/mybb/thread-17180.html

Is there a chance to preseve the end of the old URL after the migration ?


(Another possibility was to create a static archive from the old SMF-Forum, but i dont know what is a practical way for it)
