Merge system uploaded then showing error

I changed my host so I changed the php version to 7.2 then installed mybb.
Then, I uploaded the merge system. 

Now when I am running the merge say xyz.com/merge

I am seeing these warnings. I don't understand I have done it many times before but haven't faced this.

This is my live site. So, I am concerned. Please help. Should I continue?

Garbled characters on main forum

I used merge to convert a VB3 to MyBB  database...

The admin section works fine, but visiting the forum shows:

http://prntscr.com/mdqyni

Any ideas what that could be caused from?

Reminds me of opening an executable in a text editor lol.

Not sure what's going on with it or anything like that. I haven't worked with the merge system in awhile.

"Click to edit" after migrating from IPB 3.4.x to MyBB 1.8.19

Hi there


I'm freshly user of MyBB after making the decision to switch from IPB and I encountered ONLY one problem that I can not deal with...


My problem concerns mainly to not showing upsome posts on forum.
Most often, these are the first posts in the threads, but it happens also in the answers to.

In post display only "Click to edit" text and after trying to edit it I only get text "Loading..." and nothing more happens.
Of course, I checked the MySQL database and after comparing several posts after conversion, all are saved in the database correctly.

Conversion made with the help of the MyBB Merge System.

At the end a few photos of sample posts and entries.
Before conversion:

SMF to MyBB Merge

To start off, I will note that I am doing this on a test site and a subdomain. I have exported my databases from my current SMF site and imported them into a new database to prevent interference as I test. Example '...._smf000' would be the new database for the imported files and '..._smf432' would be my current one. As of right now, the website is currently running MyBB (I was testing it out). SMF is not installed... Should I have run my website in SMF first, upload MyBB somewhere within the files, and then run the merge...? My assumption was to create the site in MyBB first and then have the system use the database to merge SMF in. I'm quite new to this. (apologies)

The error I am getting within the database configuration is 'The SMF 2 database could not be found in '..._smf000'. Please ensure SMF 2 exists at this database and with this table prefix.' Help?
Edit: I fixed this by changing the table prefix to smfyx_ instead of smf_.

vB4 Merger - Invalid user specified for "get_upload_avatar_name"

I'm attempting to convert/merge a vB 4.2.5 database to MyBB 1.8.20

While most of it went smoothly, I'm stuck on the avatar import.

I keep getting the following error:

the transition from vbulletin to mybb went without errors, but after clicking on the topic, Invalid forum appears "and" bushes "appear, how to fix it?

Now I was able to fix it by removing the "aim" field in the field list and get it to work.  But not sure if it needs to be there due to older versions, but in newer versions there is not an aim field in the users_db

Hello,
Sorry english is not my native language, hope the explications will be clear enough.

I'm preparing a conversion of an old forum that still runs IPBoard 3.1.4

Everything's fine (I had to made small changes in some files, I will post in separate thread in case this can help) except attachments : no issue but import is really VERY slow. Each page (20 attachments) can take more than 10 minutes...which means it could take 

I'm not sure if this is because of the number of attachments (approx 10.000) or the number of posts in the database (approx 1.700.000).

I didn't had this problem with avatars (approx 4.000).

Any idea (other than deleting old attachments)?

Tests are done on my computer (on an ubuntu vmware) to avoid network issues, mysql timeout...

vB4 Private Messages merge cleanup times out

Hi there,

I am running the merge-system to merge from my previous vB4 to myBB 1.8.21.
Here are the stats:

Merge source:
- vB 4.2.3
- MySQL 5.5.41

Merge destination:
- MyBB 1.8.21
- MySQLi 5.6.42
- PHP 7.3.5
- Merge-system 1.8.11

Now I successfully imported the users, usergroups, forums, permissions and attempted to import the private messages.
The import it self went fine, but now it is stuck in the "Rebuilding Counters" step for the private messages.
There's a few warnings being posted, but I don't think this is the problem. I think the problem may be caused by the amount of data that I have (~700K private messages, 950K users).

Now I don't know what to do. The progress bar does not change anymore and all I can basically do is refresh the page.
On another note: I don't seem to see the "imported" sections at all.

What may I do? Can/Should I reset/abort the current "merge" step?

Moved from phpBB to MyBB

Hello,
I moved off phpbb last month. I don't know why I didn't sooner. I was handed down an old unkept forum with many errors in phpbb a couple of yrs ago. MyBB is more user friendly and love the ease of AdminCP in myBB.
Anyways, everything seemed to merge great. Everything got a checkmark. While testing everything, it seemed like avatars did not transfer over correct. Users avatars are missing that had them, ones that didnt have them have the default image. This is no biggie it's easy for users to update that. It would be nice to fix it but not high priority.
The  high priority issue, is that old attachments do not open. In Edge, a blank page comes up, in Chrome is says pdf can't open, or a square if its a jpg.  I ran the file checker, installed the PHP Cleaner, no change. New attachments are fine. I checked the db and the attachments are linked with same aid in the forum. Not sure what else to try.

MySQL error when importing users (phpBB -> MyBB)

I'am in the progress of moving over my forum to MyBB
But i ran into an error while i was importing the users into the new DB. I get the following MySQL error while inporting the user table:

1054 - Unknown column 'aim' in 'field list'

The current version if php is 7.2

Hello guys. I'm trying move MYBB from Xenforo 2. I used Merge script this operation. But i got this error when i import users. How can i do?
